Safe America’s senior staff and leaders gathered recently in Boca Raton, Florida for a two-day meeting on 2011 programming. Hosted at Office Depot’s World Headquarters, it included participants (l-r) Office Depot Director of Facilities Bill Gavin; Safe America Foundation EVP Mary Lou Pagano; Office Depot Foundation President Mary Wong; and Safe America Foundation CEO Len Pagano.Discussions focused on Safe America’s ‘March to 1 Million’ and included presentations by UPS Corporate Employee Communications Manager Jack McKlveen; former West Virginia First Lady Mrs. Gayle C. Manchin; FEMA Region V Emergency Readiness Director Jim Duncan; NCS-4 Executive Director Lou Marciani and University of Missouri Vice Chancellor Dr. Rob Duncan.
A new software application designed for the Android cellular telephone platform was previewed by Foundation Chairman Gary Grube. He noted that it should be ready for rollout this spring – in time for its introduction during the September ‘9/11 Drill Down for Safety’ season.
